The Big John Deere Volume 6

Welcome to this sixth edition of the
‘Big John Deere’ volume 6 where we
start off cutting maize near Seaford
in Co Down. We then move Co. Meath to
a willow cutting demonstration. After
this it is off to Canada to see five
big John Deere tractors digging
potatoes. Moving on down through
Alberta, near Medicine Hat, to see a
team of John Deere combines at work in
the vast wheat fields. Two massive
tractors and chaser bins bring it over
to the big Kenworth lorry with two
trailers that then take it back to the
grain terminals at the farm.

Back in Ireland again, we see more
tractors at work cutting grass,
harvesting whole crop and bringing in
the silage in. Back in Enniscorthy we
see the first Väderstad spirit nine
metre drill in Ireland and while in
the area the Stafford Bros have a
field full of John Deere’s, making the
ground ready for planting potatoes
along the River Slaney.

Contains the usual mix of commentary,
song, scenery and music.
