The Farming Year will transport you
into a familiar but also surprising
world where modern tractors mingle with
as-new classics. Part Two focuses on
the summer months.

With the arrival of the busy summer
season cameraman Sascha Jussen is back
out in the fields of Europe capturing
silage harvesting, the pea and bean
harvest and of course the all important
cereal harvest itself. With many
familiar and less familiar tractors and
machinery caught in action, this
programme builds on part 1 to show just
what farming is like through the
seasons in continental Europe in the
21st Century.

Both older classic machinery rubs
shoulders with the latest new equipment
in various countries including Germany,
France, Belgium and Holland. Highlights
include the biggest sprayer yet from
Agrifac and four big John Deere
combines harvesting wheat in one
enormous field! That and much, much
more makes this programme a must for
any fans of farm machinery.
