Philip Bradley loved fairs and began photographing them when he was only a young boy. 1999 was the sixty third consecutive year that he had taken at least one fairground photograph, a fact that he was very proud of. He had planned to take a photograph from each year and build a book around them sadly he died before he could achieve this. With the help of his wife Joan, Kevin Scrivens and Stephen Smith have reproduced his earlier photographs together with selected notes from his notebooks. The Photographs will take you back in time especially as the notes were written by someone who was there.
