In 1917 the Ford Motor Company sold its first tractor – what would become the Fordson Model F.
This marked the beginning of a tractor building legacy that would continue for 100 years, with a vast array of tractors produced bearing the Fordson, Ford and then New Holland name.

From 1991 the operation came under the control of Fiat and the New Holland name became prominent. It continues to do so today with tractors being built around the world for global markets.
