Hardback
Written, designed and edited by
Jonathan Whitlam, this massive book
show the development of the tractors
built by Ford and New Holland, from
the Model F to the latest T Series
ranges.
Using almost entirely modern
photography, the book is split into
four sections; Fordson, Ford, New
Holland and Living Legacy, all of
which combine to tell the story from
Henry Ford’s first agricultural
tractor to the huge sophisticated New
Holland giants of today.
Fully illustrated appendices include
details of the many other companies
with a connection to the blue
tractors; such as conversion builders
and those that have been merged over
the years to form the CNH Industrial
group.
The aim of the book was to not only
celebrate 100 years of the Ford
tractor, but also to show as many of
the different models built over that
time as possible and how both Ford,
Fiat and Case IH DNA was successfully
merged together to form the modern
machines.
A lot can change over the course of a
century – and this book proves just
how much the farm tractor has evolved
– and its all there in photographs as
well!
The book is hardback, consists of 528
pages and includes over 1270 full
colour photographs. It is published by
Blue Force and was officially launched
on 11th January 2017 at the New
Holland factory in Basildon.
