The two agricultural film makers Jörn and Tammo Gläser have filmed material throughout Germany for this production, in order to document the work of farmers and agricultural contractors out in the fields.


This first film in the four-part DVD collection ‘Agriculture in German’ begins in an icy spring. The agricultural contractors are already working for biogas plants to extract fermentation substrates. Sugar beet must be sown and potatoes planted, soil cultivation for the corn fields is also required. Soft ground and a wet spring make this difficult for the drivers.
