In this book avid combine harvester enthusiast Sue Morgan has formed a chronicle of combine photographs.  She has been able to capture some of the older models still at work on camera as a record for future generations, together with information about the companies who made them.  Pictures include MH 780’s, which were once often seen two or three in a field in the 1960’s to the 8-14ft cut 10 tonnes an hour models of the 1970’s to the lone giant cut harvesters of today with upwards of 80 tonnes an hour capacity working in fields of a hundred hectares or more in size. All the illustrations are from the author’s collection.
