Producer David Wood presents unique
film footage of David Brown tractors
hard at work in several exotic
locations around the world. With well
over 80% of the tractors manufactured
destined for export, DB products can be
found in over 100 countries.
We kick-off our mini David Brown tour
in Nigeria featuring DB 950s working
hard on building sites in Lagos. After
a look at Nigerian importers Leventis
Motors, we see DB tractors towing
trailers at the airport and find DB
950s down at the docks. There is a
hurricane Harvester clearing the jungle
and locals training with a DB 950 and a
disc plough.
Moving on to Syria we see the contrast
between oxen ploughing and Britain’s
finest tractors along with DB tractors
driving a stone crusher and pumping
water for irrigation.
Out in Ceylon David Brown tractors are
caught on film doing the work of
elephants. In the Philippines, we find
various types of tractors hard at work
on a large sugar plantation. Meanwhile
in the Far East DB tractors get a taste
of the orient working in paddy fields.
Moving on to the USA we visit the
company’s stand at an agricultural
show.
The David Brown Tractor film trilogy is
a real treat for all tractor fans.
This rare archive footage features many
different models and chronicals the
