This, the second of a two-part series by Stephen Richmond and Jonathan Whitlam looking at the last ten years or so of development, takes a close look at machines from New Holland, McCormick, Landini, JCB, Challenger, Fendt and Massey Ferguson. Stephen also takes us through two of the major features of the modern tractors as he describes the workings of the on-board computer control system and the benefit offered by axle and cab suspension systems.
