When we think of tractors we tend ot think of big shiny well kept machines and drivers tearing around in t-shirts and shades on a warm sunny day, and silage harvesting DVDs certainly add fuel to this image. Reality though is a little different. While that may be the case during the silage ‘silly season’, when all the grass is in, the pits are covered, and the evenings start drawing in, tractor drives don their boiler suits and wellies, hook up to their tankers and get down and dirty at slurry.

This DVD may not smell as good as some but as we’ll see in the next 90 mins it’s far from short of action. We take a look at the diverse range of methods used by some large scale contractors to get the job done using some of the largest and latest kit around.
