This programme, the first of two parts, delves right into the story of the conversions, looking at those built from 1917 to 1964 in chronological order along with each Ford tractor model that they were based on. From the Model F to the New Performance range, we get to see how the various manufacturers such as Chaseside, Muir-Hill, Roadless, County and Doe developed their products along with the Ford machine itself. This results in a unique look at these various crawler and four wheel drive tractors as well as just some of the various industrial machines.
