Neil Johnston has spent his whole
working life with lorries, not so very
different from that of many transport
professionals, working for his
family’s
business, in livestock and general
haulage, as an AEC apprentice, and
later driving tippers for around 40
years, based in Kent. The difference
is
that he took photographs of all the
vehicles he drove and was involved
with
during this time, which form the basis
of this issue, with emphasis on the
Tom
Johnston livestock and W E Reeve Ltd
general haulage vehicles during the
1960s.
