Softback Book
Following the success of his first book, ‘A Lincolnshire Lad Looks Back’, Len Woodhead has put pen to paper once again with further reminiscences of his life as a farm worker on Nocton Estate, known in its day as the home of Smith’s Potato Crisps.
This new book features many photographs taken around Nocton, as well as a written tour of the local farms and buildings (with many stops along the way as len remembers amusing stories about their former occupants), and anecdotes about local people and events. Peppered with poems, newspaper articles and Lincolnshire dialect, this second book is sure to be just as fascinating as the first.
