Eighty years of Ford tractor history, shown in chronological order, are featured in this series of DVD programmes. Using original colour and black and white promotional and information films professionally made by the Ford Motor Company over a number of decades, this series brings the story of the Ford tractor back to life!
This programme starts with a ‘special request’; a look at one more film starring the iconic Ford 7000. It also features a number of new tractors launched by Ford at this time which were known as the 7A line, but referred to as the ‘600’ series. Replacement models, including the 2600, 3600, 4600, 6600, 7600 along with the newly introduced 4100 and 5600 models, all appear in this programme.
Also to be seen is a film produced by Sperry – New Holland, who at the time, were manufacturing a competitive range of combine and forage harvesters, mowers, balers and more besides.
With machines from 1917 up to the 1990s, this series features something for everyone interested in Ford tractors and bring a completely new perspective to the machines that helped revolutionise farming the world over.
