The Jones brothers from Mold in North Wales started life as contractors back in the early part of the nineteen twenties when equipment was difficult to get hold of and they decided to build a machine for themselves. They looked at other machines available at the time and successfully built an early baler, later other people saw the baler and wanted one too, and that is how the company started, by first of all building a machine for themselves and then becoming one of the top exporters, and this is the story of the Jones company.

In this film Mike Lawrence and Malcolm Fleet presents the Jones Baler Story illustrated by examples of Jones Balers and equipment, including many items from Mike Lawrence’s own collection.
