The original Fergie 20 family grew out of the “Ferguson Album” which is again almost sold out as I write this. The idea was an abstract of the larger book to meet the needs of an expanding market where some people wanted a modicum of information at a budget price.

Well, after a second 64 page edition in 1992 and a reprint in 1995 the “Fergie 20 Family” again sold out in 1997, and as demand for the book continues, it was decided to revise the title where necessary and reissue it. Note that implements and accessories are covered in the companion volume “Fergie 20 Implements, Accessories and Industrial Equipment” which is “Vintage Tractor Special No. 2., and post 1958 Massey Ferguson Tractors are covered in “Classic Tractor Special No. 3. Massey Ferguson 1958-82.”
